Welcome to Filomena Family Farms, a homestead farm in the heart of Temecula wine country. Our goal is to turn a former sun baked dirt lot into a thriving dragonfruit farm through hard work and dedication. The focus in year one was to remediate the soil and prepare the farm to grow 400 dragonfruit, and passion fruit plants.
Our farming journey is rooted in a commitment to organic excellence, focusing on regenerative agriculture and soil practices. Embracing the core values of food security and the belief in food as medicine, we craft a symphony of organically grown produce that promotes well-being. From golden, organic eggs to lush, nutrient-rich microgreens, our mission extends beyond farming – it's a pledge from a father to his son to pass down the knowledge of raising crops and self-reliance.

Soil Remediation
One of our methods to improve soil health is to apply compost extracts. Our compost applications improve the diversity of nutrient cycling biology in our Temecula soil; resulting in less fertilizer. Limiting off-farm inputs like fertilizer, reduces our environmental impact. Nolan's favorite part is looking at microbes with our microscope.
